Tutorial 16 marks the beginning of a 2 chapter screencast by Mark Ridley of www.highton-ridley.co.uk. Mark will show us how he’s produced the high contrast black and white images using multiple different RAW processings from a single exposure.   Thank you for all your tutorials and tips they are very helpful. I do have a question, Is there any similar software for the MAC like the ones used in this tutorial by Highton-Ridley?

  Thanks for your post and your kind comments. I’m not aware of any direct comparisons on the Mac I’m afraid. You can do HDR on the Mac in Photoshop of course and one of the best known HDR programs – HDRsoft’s Photomatix – is also available on the Mac (www.hdrsoft.com). Or if you’ve got VMWare Fusion or Parallels you can actually run the software Mark does in the tutorial. I’ve tried it in VMWare on my Mac and it works perfectly!
