Tutorial 4, Chapter 3 - Chair-o-plane

Today we have part three, the final part of our chair-o-plane image. Today we look at more dodging and burning, lightening shadows, tweaking saturation and brightness and adding a vignette. I also correct a mistake from last week's show where I talked about selecting highlights. Todays show is longer and wafflier than ever! Sorry about that, I'll try and get my running time more under control in future. I need some kind of stopwatch while I'm recording. :)

A stopwatch... Now that will be fun! Suddenly, in mid-sentence a beeper will go off, at which the show will come to sort a rather abrupt ending... ;o)

Didn't mind the waffling cause also this time I learned a lot. Especially the trick with selecting the highlights! Also the shortcut keys you mentioned already came in very handy!

Dear John, Am loving your tutorials, am moving forward through them from the beginning and am just on this one. How do I find you in the flikr website? I've done searches but can't seem to find your group. I have some challenging underwater photos that I'd like your help with. I have to shoot at iso 1600 (I have a Canon d-20 and shoot in RAW) I've tried the neat image to deal with the noise, but it's still not enough. Please let me know where I can leave my images (see website for some of them) for critque. Thanks! Jolene
