This week we finish the Singer Island Sunrise image with more colour and light work, loads more layer masks, some dodge and burn and a vignette. Also this week we launch our newest competition in association with Wacom.

Hi John,

Great tutorial once again! Keep up the great work, I really appreciate the effort that you put into each of your episodes... They're very well put together.

One quick question however... You mentioned at the start of this tutorial that you would give a tip to people planning on buying Lightroom. I'm one of those people but I didn't catch what you had to say about it! Am I missing something?

Thanks again,
Marc

Err no - you didn't miss it. I did. I recorded it and then forgot to include it in the finished episode. I feel such a prat. So sorry about about. I'll include it in the next show.

Basically, though, I was going to show you how to turn on "maximise compatability" in your Photoshop options. That's because Lightroom still can't import PSD files that were saved without that option. I was also going to mention that to re-save files with the option turned on you have to choose "save as" from the file menu.

John
