PW121 - Tutorial 18, Chapter 3 - Draganize a Portrait
Tweet
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 9:42PM
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 9:42PM The final chapter of our Photoshop CS4 tutorial showing how to create a Dragan effect using a portrait. In this chapter we create the gritty high contrast effect so characteristic of Dragan's work along with some colour work to give the image character. We finish our work with a little more dodging and burning through the draganizing layers to get the precise draganized effect we're looking for.

Hi John,
would you mind sending me the original photo? I would like to try my take on it. It does not even need to be in a very big resolution.
Thanks,
Martin
really enjoyed the Dragan tutorial, have tried it on several photos, getting there slowly, great work and thanks for the great tutorials not only this one. Calvin - Madrid
Thanks guys - glad you enjoyed this one. Do me a favour - if you liked it please blog it/tweet it/pass the link on to your friends. It would help me out big time!
Martin - I'll get all the source files uploaded to the site for this and all the old tutorials soon. Sorry for the delay - this is getting pushed aside by the creation of new tutorials. :)
Hi Join,
great Tutorial, thanks so much for your work. I will do an article on our project-page for sure.
