Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 12:00PM Manfrotto had lots of new stuff to show this year and we started by taking a look at their compact and 290 series tripods, both available as a kit. The compact series have an innovative thumb-wheel locking system while the 290s have a removable head and all metal locking joints.
