At last - back to some normality. I hope you enjoyed our two unusual shows for the last couple of weeks. Today we start another proper image tutorial and this time I'm covering how to produce this very gritty style. To begin with, though, we spend quite a bit of time on composition and composition exercises. And just for added spice there's a little update on the Lightroom review as well. Enjoy!

This is the final installment of Tutorial 3 - our Cheshire Sky Panorama. This chapter covers the final steps to add shape and drama to the sky using burning, dodging and a gradient. Chapter 3 of Tutorial 3 covers cropping, levelling, spot editing and adding contrast to the image. This is a long one, recorded at about 2am and I rambled on for quite a long time - sorry about that. But you do get to see quite a lot of my personal technique and approach in addition to the basic "how-to" style information. As always, feedback is appreciated and I encourage you to join the Flickr group and post some of your work there. As it turns out there will need to be a Chapter 4 to this Tutorial, which will cover dodging and burning the sky as well as sky gradients and some work on the colours.

It's Monday so that means a new chapter of our latest tutorial - Cheshire Sky Panorama. Today I'll show you how to extract JPG images from RAW files using the Image Processor and then I'll stitch the images together using the excellent free panorama stitching tool, Autostitch.

Tutorial 3 starts today. This time I'm working on a panoramic image taken when I saw some very dramatic and interesting colours in the sky. I'll show you working with multiple RAW files, exporting to JPG using image processor, stitching with AutoStitch and then final processing to add colour and contrast in photoshop.
