My good friend Chris Marquardt has recently been posting episodes from the Photo Day that aired on Twit Live in 2009. I was privileged to be part of the day and Chris recently posted part of my contribution. You can find the episode on the Tips From The Top Floor website as tfttf429 - Photoday 2009 Video - Post Processing with John Arnold - Part 1 of 4. There's a link on the page there to download the MP4 version, which is much higher quality than the embedded YouTube show. I recommend viewing that one.
This is the second and final part of Tutorial 17 where we do some further colour cast removal and then work on light and tone, guiding the eye and some dodging and burning. This show is in the new shorter PhotoWalkthrough style which should enable to me to get more episodes out.
In our 100th show today we start a brand new tutorial where we look at how to remove nasty reflected coloured light from a photo. We also have our usual assignment and the entries to the last assignment set to music.
It's the end of our second week of Lightroom 2 tips and today we look at all the myriad ways Adobe have given us to add keywords to our images. I know it's something most of us shy away from doing. Who needs another post processing step when all we're really interested in is how the picture looks? But keywording is one of those tasks that given just a little of prior thought can be fast, consistant and incredibly useful. So let's delve into the tools we have available.
Those of you that know me know how much I love my vignettes. Well Adobe made me very happy with Lightroom 2. They added a post-crop vignette feature that does everything I could have wanted. So today Im going to show you all about how to use it.
